Yakima Valley AVA
The 2013 vintage was ideal for creating a rich palate weight and plenty of tropical notes balanced by singing acidity.. The growing season was long and warm marked by a cool end to the growing season. The fruit harvested under ideal conditions in early September.
Sourced from the Yakima Valley, the 2013 Ravenna Riesling underwent a long, cold fermentation in 100% stainless steel to keep all of the bright aromatics in place. A touch of residual sugar gives this wine beautiful texture, while the clean, natural acidity provides a focused attack and a crisp finish.
The new release of the Corvidae Ravenna Riesling is a great example of the beautifully balanced 2013 vintage, showing stone fruits, ginger snaps and honey.
