Union Gap Vineyard
This wine ships in the March 2017 Club Release to Artisanal Select Washington Red Wine Club Members.
Harvested August 19th at a ripe 25.0 Brix, still with lively acid of 5g/L and pH of 3.69. Again, big aromas with saturated flavors and textures. This Syrah is very approachable now and will only get better over the next ten years.
This deep purple hued Syrah is bursting with lasting aromas of boysenberry, blackberry and violet notes. The subtle toasty oak nuances are coated with rich flavors of blueberry, leather, pepper and vanilla- finishing with firm tannins and hints of allspice and tobacco.
